Mr. Allen Bostrom is a licensed accounting instructor and serves as Universal’s administrator. Prior to his appointment as administrator, Mr. Bostrom has been a practicing accountant since 1976 and has held accounting positions for the Exxon Corporation in Houston, Texas, for more than 12 years. He has also developed and managed his own private accounting practice.
Kenneth B. Bostrom, Instructor
Mr. Kenneth Bostrom is also a licensed accounting and computer software instructor. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bostrom has provided accounting services and consultation for a variety of small businesses. He has also worked as a computer support representative for a California-based software company. Mr. Bostrom has an extensive background in computer maintenance and instructing others in using word processing and accounting software programs.
Gary Hamblin, Instructor
Mr. Hamblin has taught the Universal Income Tax Preparation courses since 1999. As a professional income tax preparer for more than 15 years, he has helped thousands of individuals and small businesses in their income tax filings and concerns. Mr. Hamblin is also a practicing small business accountant, which equips him with a broad base of knowledge that benefits each of his students.
Roger A. Knecht, Director of Marketing
As the director of marketing for Universal Accounting Center, Mr. Knecht works with graduates to help improve their careers. Each day, he assists them as they take the steps necessary to realize their dreams in the profession of accounting and bookkeeping through employment and or self-employment. With his bachelor’s degree in communications and his background in marketing and recruiting, Mr. Knecht has proven himself to be an invaluable asset to UAC graduates.
Sasha Larson, Instructor
With more than 35 years in small business accounting and five years in training, Ms. Larson comes uniquely qualified to train others in accounting and bookkeeping. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting/management in 1987 and received an MBA in 1991. Ms. Larson currently serves as a controller for a prominent Utah builder.
David Sherwood
As the Director of Marketing for Universal Accounting Services Mr. Sherwood works with graduates to help them develop their bookkeeping service. His degree in business and years of marketing and recruiting have been a valuable asset as graduates learn the steps necessary to build a successful accounting practice and reach their dreams.
